Hi! I'm Mike Wu, a machine learning
researcher and entrepreneur.
I'm interested in combining generative models and neural networks. I studied at Yale where I strived to encourage computer science on campus. I cofounded YHack, Yale's annual 2000 person international hackathon, and supported CodeBoola, a coding bootcamp for New Haven high school students.
I've jumped around a lot from field to field. Along the way, I've worked on computer vision at Facebook Research; researched at Yale, Harvard, and Oxford; and cofounded Invrea, a probabilistic programming language built directly in Microsoft Excel. Currently, I'm a PhD student at Stanford rotating in Noah Goodman's lab.
You can catch me best by email.
